Current work in progress
I am back from a mini vacation and it’s time to get things going again on this yoga triptych!
The time has come where my 2011 MacBook Pro has bit the dust. I spent the past two days, unfortunately not painting, but fixing this technological problem.
Paint will not be touching this bad boy. Luckily, I had everything backed up from my previous computer, so I won’t skip a beat as I keep working on my commissions!
The yoga triptych is just getting started! Watch them develop here or on Instagram and Facebook!
I have been working on another wedding portrait and was unable to post updates. It was a commission piece and it was a surprise gift to the beautiful bride. However, she has received her painting and now I can share the piece! Thank you for the commission Adam and Ginger!
I am always open to any kind of commission piece, please feel free to contact me with any inquiries!
Spent the day in the woodshop building stretchers for a triptych piece - stay tuned to see what’s going on. I’m pretty excited about this one!
I have been working on two tiger eyes commission pieces. I still have work on one, but today I have completed the other.
I swear painting is magic. I love watching how color establishes form, depth, and life to a painting through the layers. I think it’s the most exciting and beautiful part of being an artist.
Above shows four documented stages of the tiger eyes painting, beginning to end.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any interest in a commission piece!
